The alloy steel WP11 pipe fittings are comprised of chromium (1-1.5%); Molybdenum (0.45-0.65%); carbon (0.05 to 0.15%) along with a couple of trace elements, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. The properties of these fittings make them excellent for superior strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability. The compression of WP11 provides mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 415-585 MPa and yield strength of 205 Mpa, which makes fittings durable in high pressure designs. The elongation is 20% of WP11 fittings, and its properties are referenced for toughness. Fittings of WP11 are ideal for high temperature and pressure applications in plants, refineries and petrochemical application design. Hence, WP11 fittings have excellent weldability and creep resistance.
