Hastelloy C22 Buttweld Fittings are produced using a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that provides exceptional resistance to corrosion in highly aggressive environments, including oxidizing and reducing conditions. Approximately 56% nickel, 22% chromium, 13% molybdenum and trace amounts of iron, tungsten, and cobalt make up the composition of Hastelloy C22. The Hastelloy C22 Buttweld Fittings have excellent resistance to both pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Their mechanical properties include high tensile strength (approximately 758 MPa), yield strength (approximately 345 MPa), and excellent ductility. They are highly weldable and well suited for strong and demand applications, including those typical in chemical processing and jobs in other industries.
