This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic conditions such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, and includes general corrosion resistance, pitting resistance, crevice corrosion resistance, and stress corrosion cracking resistance. The mechanical properties of Incoloy 825 have high tensile strength (about 620 MPa), good oxidation resistance, and is well weldable, making it a good fit for demanding industrial applications.
