Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy that is used in extreme conditions. Its usual content is approximately 72% nickel, 14–17% chromium, and 6–10% iron, providing superior resistance to oxidation, carburization, and chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking.
