Inconel 601 is an aluminum-backed nickel-chromium alloy with high oxidation and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. The standard composition contains approximately 58% nickel, 21–25% chromium, and minor amounts of aluminum and iron. These forged fittings retain their strength at temperatures up to 1150°C and have a tensile strength of about 585 MPa.
