Inconel 625 is a nickel-chromium alloy superalloy containing approximately 58% nickel, 20-23% chromium, 8-10% molybdenum, and trace amounts of iron, niobium, and other elements. This alloy features superb resistance against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The alloy has a tensile strength of about 760 MPa and a very good toughness even at cryogenic temperatures.
