Stainless Steel 321 is an austenitic stainless steel stabilized by titanium to resist carbide precipitation, whereas 321H is a high-carbon variant of 321 that offers stronger high-temperature capabilities. Chemical Composition consists of chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–12%), and titanium (at least 5 times that of carbon). Mechanical properties consist of a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 35%. These alloys have superior mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, particularly after welding, and thus Stainless Steel 321/321H Forged Fittings are the best for continuous use in the 600–900°C temperature range.

321/321H Stainless Steel Forged Fittings are used extensively in applications of high pressure and high temperature where oxidation resistance as well as intergranular corrosion resistance is required. These fittings are best suited for use in heat exchangers, exhaust manifolds, aircraft parts, chemical plants, and thermal processing equipment. Their resistance to carbide formation after welding makes them ideal for use in piping systems that involve extensive welding or exposure to variable thermal conditions. 321H’s high-temperature strength further justifies its application in pressure vessels and boilers. The forged fittings provide a reliable and long-lasting solution for critical applications in a broad spectrum of industrial applications.
