Stainless Steel 347 and 347H are titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steels with chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–13%), and columbium/tantalum for stabilization. 347H contains more carbon content for increased high-temperature strength. These alloys exhibit high resistance to intergranular corrosion following welding, a good creep strength, and oxidation resistance. Tensile strength is around 515 MPa, yield strength is 205 MPa, and elongation is about 35%. Stainless Steel 347/347H Forged Fittings retain their toughness and structural integrity in applications involving elevated heat, and therefore they are perfectly suitable for long-term service under demanding operating conditions.
