347H stainless steel is an austenitic alloy with a content of about 17–20% chromium and 9–13% nickel, supplemented with niobium to inhibit carbide precipitation upon welding. The higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) adds high-temperature strength and creep life. It contributes a tensile strength of about 585 MPa and a yield strength close to 240 MPa, along with excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance in environments exposed to high temperatures.
