Stainless Steel 410 is a martensitic stainless steel alloy containing mainly iron, chromium (11.5–13.5%), along with small amounts of carbon, manganese, and silicon. It provides excellent mechanical strength and average corrosion resistance. The material possesses a tensile strength of around 480–700 MPa, yield strength of about 275 MPa, and elongation of 20% in 50 mm. It is magnetic and can be hardened by heat treatment.
