Super Duplex Steel is an alloy stainless steel with high content that possesses the best properties of both ferritic and austenitic microstructures. It has 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, and added nitrogen content for improved strength and corrosion resistance. The alloys provide tensile strength of approximately 750–850 MPa, yield strength of approximately 550 MPa, and elongation of 25%. Super Duplex Steel Buttweld Fittings demonstrate superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, yet they possess excellent toughness and durability at high-pressure and severely corrosive working conditions.
