UNS S32750 is a super duplex stainless steel alloy containing about 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, and 3–5% molybdenum with the addition of nitrogen and manganese for improved strength and corrosion resistance. Its two-phase austenitic-ferritic microstructure offers superior stress corrosion cracking, pitting, crevice corrosion, and erosion resistance. With tensile strength of approximately 795 MPa and a yield strength of about 550 MPa, the alloy also offers superior impact toughness at cryogenic temperatures. The high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, and weldability of the material recommend it for complicated, high-load systems operating in aggressive service environments.
